Hyaluronic Emulsion With Vitamin C
Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Emulsion with Vitamin C is the second serum that I used along with MB's Cellufirm Drops. I chose this serum because it claims to benefit my dry skin type.
Price: $30 for 1 oz. (29 ml)
Ingredients:
Packaging: The serum is packaged in a semi –opaque plastic bottle. The bottle is durable and travel friendly. The serum has a liquid consistency and very lightweight. It is white in color and odorless.
My Experience With Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Emulsion With Vitamin C:
Currently, I have been using this serum twice a day in my daytime and evening skincare routine. I need 3-4 drops of the serum for face application. The serum absorbs easily and almost instantaneously. After I apply the serum, my face feels mildly hydrated as it contains hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid acts as a humectant, which attracts moisture towards skin.
However, I have to layer my serum with face cream as I have very dry skin. The serum does not hinder any additional application of cream or sunscreen on my face.
This is a very nutrient rich serum as it contains collagen. I found a good improvement in texture of my skin while using this serum. My skin looks smooth and nourished.
The serum also contains vitamin C to provide additional anti-aging benefits. I did not observe my skin becoming brighter, but I did notice a better improvement in my facial skin condition. As this serum is completely odorless, I found it very convenient to use.
In comparison to MB's Cellufirm drops, both the serums fared equally well for me. My skin has responded well to both the serums and has been helpful as well. The major concern that I have regarding this serum is, that the ingredient list mentions about containing herbal extracts. It does not reference what it contains, which it might affect sensitive skin type.
Pros of Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Emulsion with Vitamin C:
• It is a lightweight serum, which gets absorbed immediately after application.
• Hyaluronic acid in serum provides mild hydration to skin.
• Collagen in serum provides anti-aging benefits, making skin look healthy and nourished.
• Presence of vitamin C made the skin smoother and improvement in skin texture.
• Odorless serum, which is suitable for combination, dry and sensitive skin types.
• Travel friendly packaging.
• Need 3 – 4 drops for face application.
• Serum is suitable to layer further with cream or sunscreen on face.
• It is safe to use around the eyes.
Cons of Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Emulsion with Vitamin C:
• The ingredient list mentions the presence of herbal extracts, which is ambiguous.
• As it contains Vitamin C, it makes skin very sun-sensitive.
IMBB Rating: 4 out of 5.
Would I buy Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Emulsion with Vitamin C again?
Yes, I like this serum so I would buy it again. After using both the serums from MB, I have really liked how effective it has been for my skin. So now, I am looking forward to try other range of face products from this brand as well.
